As a veteran of seven successful, redevelopment transitional pastorates, Brian has been blessed by the coaching of others and has provided coaching to others. If you need someone to help you “stick to the program” and sort through issues, Brian can help you.
- Board member training – by way of one-time meeting visits, Saturday seminars or weekend retreats
- Strategic planning facilitation – Brian can help you sort out your purpose, mission, vision, values, etc., by way of board member visits, Saturday sessions or weekend retreats.
- Transition counseling – Churches in transition between solo or senior pastors need extra help. Brian can assist you as you follow God through these dangerous waters.
- Pastor search committee training and coaching. One-time visits are offered as well as ongoing coaching
- Brian loves to help churches with comprehensive assessments, which involve a thorough examination of a church ministry conducted by an experienced set of “outsider eyes.” Fact sheets are available which explain the details.
- “Used” (by God, that is), inspiring Sunday sermons – Brian especially loves helping churches through transition.
- Conflict mediation – Brian can help individuals, small groups or entire congregations.
- Seminar presentations – Brian offers seminars on personal Bible study and interpretation principles, Biblical peacemaking, basic leadership and personal life management.
- Brian wants to help churches of all sizes, so he is serving on a missionary basis. He asks for churches to pay for his expenses and to give him a love gift and/or add him to their missionary staffs. Churches which support Brian as a “missionary to the churches” can consider him to be “on retainer.”
- Brian is a member of Church Assistance Ministry (CAM), a consulting group which provides him a team of colleagues to compare notes (and referrals) with, a measure of accountability and 501 (c) 3 tax exempt status. All funding help is appreciated and should be sent to Brian’s account at churchassistanceministry.org. Direct giving options are available.
- Brian is available to serve both denominational and non-denominational evangelical churches throughout the Midwest.
